Festival FAQs
In 2022, the Festival dates are August 19-21, and the hours are slightly different each day. Friday’s hours are 3pm-9pm; Saturday’s hours are 12pm-9pm; and Saturday’s hours are 12pm-5pm.
The address is the Charles R Wood Park, also known as Festival Commons, at 17 West Brook Road, Lake George, NY 12845. The park is located on the South side of the village at the corner of Route 9 and West Brook Road. The park is behind Fort William Henry a short walk from Beach Road and the Million Dollar Beach.
Adult admission is $7 per day or $10 for a weekend pass. Kids 14 and under are FREE. You can go out and back in on the same day by getting a hand stamp on your way out of the Festival gate.
Unfortunately not. While we would love to be able to secure space for free parking (as we do for our Vermont shows), the Village of Lake George is just too busy and there are no options for us to feasibly rent a parking area. That said, there is plenty of parking by meter at reasonable prices close to the Festival.
We love our dogs too! But No! With the obvious exception of Certified Service Animals, this is a park rule so please leave your dogs at home.
You may purchase non-refundable but transferrable tickets in advance here at Eventbrite. Or, you can purchase tickets at the Gate, cash only. We will have an ATM on site if you need to get some cash to enter.
Yes! However, in the event of a lightning storm, we would need to close. In the past 20 years, this has happened to us only once, and that ‘once’ happened to be last year at this show on Sunday. The weather report as of 9:00am called for severe lightning around 1pm, so we made the hard decision to close for Sunday for safety reasons. If this should happen again before the next 20 years, we will get it posted on the website and our other social media platforms as quickly as possible. So, if you are unsure, check the website for an update.
The Village of Lake George maintains a beautiful, permanent building of facilities on the park grounds which our patrons use during the Festival. We also provide some portable units on the other side of the park for convenience.
No, as per the Village of Lake George and their rules for the Charles R Wood Park.
All exhibitors at the Festival, including Food Vendors, are independent contractors. Most accept credit cards and some may also accept checks, depending upon their individual policies.
Great! Please go our Exhibitor Website, which is www.craftproducers.com to find information and applications. Or, feel free to email us at info@craftproducers.com or call our office during office hours at 802.316.5019. Please be understanding that starting Wednesday during week of the show we won’t be responding as quickly since we’ll be on site at Lake George for the show.
It’s all here on the website under the respective menus. Please note that when we have late applicants or last minute changes, the details may change. However, for a period of time before and after the show, you should be able to check the Art & Craft Exhibitors page for photos and links for your favorite Artisans. And, as always, if you are trying to track someone down and can’t find them easily, email us at info@craftproducers or call our office during office hours at 802.316.5019 so we can help you.
Children 14 and under have a FREE admission price into the Festival. But the providers of special activities like the bounce house zone and pony rides charge their own individual prices for their services.
No! The live music is FREE inside the dining tent. Grab your lunch and enjoy the bands in the comfort of the large tent or outside if weather is nice.
